It's hot in here!

The problem with getting Halloween costumes from the States is that they're winter costumes, made to combat the fall chill. Dubai does not have this problem.  Last year we had to get Emma out of her Robin costume before she died of heat stroke.  This year we borrowed Kiira's ladybug costume.  It was super hot and Emma wanted out.

Now she simply wants out on the playground

Emma was in bed by 5:00 so she didn't go trick-or-treating with Aidan and Kiira. Maybe next year

My First Halloween

The kids were the Dynamic Duo of Batman and Robin this year.  The costumes worked out well, Emma's was a bit hot though.  Halfway through the night we had to take her costume off and just leave her in a onesie.  Deni had also brought her a cute cate onsie, black cat cap, and cat paw socks.  The socks are a bit big but Emma was able to wear everything else.
